Way Motor Works (WMW) was founded in 2004 by Way, a former BMW and MINI master technician whose passion for British cars led him to leave dealership life behind. Recognized as one of the top MINI technicians in the U.S. in 2003 and 2004, Way has over 20 years of experience, making him one of the most knowledgeable Modern MINI mechanics in the country—and beyond.

A True MINI Enthusiast

Way’s personal collection includes both classic and modern MINIs, including rare models like the GP1 and GP2. His dedication to the MINI community runs deep: WMW is a regular presence at national MINI events such as:

Way's Journey

Way’s passion for cars began early, inspired by his father, a classic car enthusiast. Excelling in high school automotive classes and technical college, Way graduated as one of the top student technicians in the country. His career highlights include:

  • Graduating from the elite BMWSTEP program
  • Becoming a Level 1 BMW technician in 2000
  • Volunteering to become one of the first MINI technicians in the U.S.

Way’s racing career has taken him from U.S. circuits to international competitions, including the UK MINI Challenge and the legendary Nürburgring. His racing experience directly influences the performance-focused products and services offered at WMW.
