Coolant Temperature Sensor for 2002-2006 R50 MINI Cooper, R53 Cooper S, and 2005-2008 R52 MINI Cabrio. This coolant or water temp sensor screws into the back of the cylinder head next to the thermostat housing. It reads the coolant temp in the cylinder head and sends the signal back to the DME which then controls the engine cooling fan.
Sold as individual coolant temp sensor.
