Crankshaft Positions Sensor Oring or Crank Sensor for short for 2002-2006 R50 MINI Cooper R53 Cooper S, and R52 MINI Convertible. Have an 02-06 MINI with an oil leak on the front side of the engine? This may be the cause. We've seen many of these crankshaft position sensor o rings leak. This o-ring is located on the crank sensor and is pretty common for it to leak as these get older. Replace yours today.
