H-Sport Competition Rear Sway Bar

The Hsport (Hotchkis sport) Competition Rear Sway bar is the same as a solid 22mm swaybar. The difference is this bar is a hollow bar allowing us to save almost 8lbs over any solid bar. To do this the bar is 25.5mm, tubular, 4130 chrome moly sway bar weighing in at only 5.5 pounds! So the effective rate of the bar is equal to a solid 22mm bar. The Hotchkis Competition Rear Sway bar has three adjustment positions with the softest setting being the more neutral balance. The middle setting will really aid the Mini'­s medium to long mid-corner speed where there will not be any throttle feathering needed to turn the car. The stiffest setting is most beneficial through very slow, tight corners where without the bar you would find yourself on and off throttle several times. With the Competition Rear sway bar, this type of corner should only be a one throttle application corner with a rear-steer feel. Although handling characteristics may vary depending on your set-up, each position of the Competition Rear sway bar is very distinct and useful. Now you have an advantage at the track and auto-cross course! The set comes complete with polyurethane bushings, bushing brackets and 90-degree zerk fittings for easy lubrication, and one sway bar.
