Hood Support Strut for 2002-2006 R50 MINI Cooper and R53 Cooper S Hardtop and 2005-2008 R52 Cabrio MINI. If your hood is falling on your head these rear hood support struts are probably worn out. Sometimes also called hood shocks. The seals fail and loose the gas pressure over time making them no longer support the hood when it is open.
