Hood Latch Switch for 2002-2006 R50 MINI Cooper, R53 Cooper S and 2005-2008 R52 Cabrio. If you have the silly light in the speedo showing the hood open when it is actually closed this small switch that mounts on the back of the passenger side hood latch may be broke. As these get older the plastic they are made of gets brittle and they fall off.
