Mass Air Flow Sensor for 2007-2010 R55 R56 R57 MINI Cooper S with N14 Engine. We've already seen these airflow sensors fail and cause rough running and a check engine light. Sometimes these are even called an air flow meter since this sensor tells the ECU how much air is going into the engine. That makes this the most important sensor on the engine as the ECU uses this information to control fuel and timing to make the engine run. If the mass air flow sensor gets dirt in it that can also cause it to fail, or give a false signal. Sold as individual Mass Air Flow Sensor Will NOT work on N12 Cooper Engine, N14 factory JCW Engine, or N18 Engine.
