Outside Temperature Sensor for 2002-2006 R50 MINI Cooper, R53 Cooper S, and 2005-2008 R52 MINI Cabrio. If your MINI is reading -40 deg on the outside temp readout this sensor could be the cause. When it fails or rubs against something the computer defaults to -40 as a readout. This sensor is mounted behind the front bumper cover. Also if you have -40 the A/C will NOT work. Sold as individual outside temp sensor.
