Supercharger Belt tensioner Shock for 02-06 R53 MINI Cooper S, 05-08 R52 MINI Cooper S convertible. If your belt tensioner has a bad shock or the bushings on the tensioner shock are worn out you need one. This is the most cost effective fix for your tensioner. These are pretty common to fail, so if you've got a lot of miles this may be a good maintenance item to replace. A broken belt tensioner can damage the crankshaft pulley and be expensive.
This is the OEM shock, NOT an aftermarket as we have had issues with aftermarket shocks not working correctly hence why they were so much cheaper.
