Under Tower Strut Plates for 2002-2006 R50 R53 MINI Cooper and Cooper S and 2005-2008 R52 MINI Cabrio. These plates mount between the body and the front upper strut mount to reinforce the mount and prevent mushrooming. Mushroomed strut towers if you looked at them look popped up. This reduces camber which affects the alignment and tire wear. This has been a common issue that MINI owners have had to face. Installation is a little more difficult than the top mounted plates, it will take about 30 minutes to ensure to install per side. You will need to lift the car, bolting the strut unbolt the struts, and maneuver the plates into place before bolting the strut back in place. These are only available for first generation, 2002-2006 (R50/52/53) MINI. The pair comes plated in a black finish.
