WMW Strut Tower Brace R52 R53

WMW strut tower brace or also know as a strut bar for your front suspension for your 2002-2006 R53 MINI Cooper S, and 2005-2008 R52 Cabrio S. Yes we know you seen strut bars before and think this is just another bar. Wrong, we took and fixed the issues other bars had and made it right. First off our strut brace mounts to billet aluminum strut tower plates to prevent mushrooming. We found others on the market claim to be billet and are actually extrude or porous aluminum allowing them to bend under hard impacts and not protect the towers. Then we moved onto the bar. We made ours out of one solid piece of aluminum. This makes it as strong as possible and reduces flex even more. Bars made of multiple pieces have give at each joint reducing the stiffness they can provide. The bar is then attached to the strut plates with studs and nuts making it easy to remove and not worry about damaging the aluminum from bolts screwing in and out of of the plates every time you change the oil. If you are concerned about strut tower mushrooming and looking for improved stiffness, then the WMW Strut Tower Brace (STB) is the answer. The WMW strut tower brace is machined to clear the stock airbox & ECU or most aftermarket air boxes such as the DDMworks intake. The black anodize on the bars is a hard anodize which cost about 4x what standard anodizing does. This give the metal the black color you see and does a much better resistant to wearing off or corrosion.
