WMW Strut Tower Reinforcement Plates R50 R52 R53

WMW Strut Tower Plates for 2002-2006 R50 MINI Cooper, R53 Cooper S, and 2005-2008 R52 Cabrio and Cabrio S. Over our last 12 years of business we have found strut tower mushrooming to be a common problem on the first gen MINIs. When pot holes, bumps, speed bumps or other impacts are hit the front strut mounts take a lot of the abuse. They will then bend and bend the sheet metal where the front struts mount to the body. When they bend the alignment is knocked out of wack commonly adding neg camber and changing the toe. This will then cause extra tire wear or pulling to left or right while driving. Adding our WMW strut tower plates will strengthen the mounts by reinforcing the mount with our over 1/4 thick real billet aluminum plate. The plates will also sandwich the sheet metal between the mount and the plate keeping it from bending and causing the issues. But with our WMW plates we have an additional feature as these are already threaded to allow you to add our WMW strut bar later without having to replace the plates. CNC machined and made here in the USA. Finished in stylish grey anodize. Sold as a pair seen in pic.
