WMW Terms

Returns/Refunds:

In the event that you would like to exchange or return an item, you must contact Way Motor Works within 5 business days of receipt by either e-mail or phone to obtain an RMA #. We will refuse any return that has not been pre-authorized with an RMA # by Way Motor Works. Returns must be shipped prepaid and insured by the customer. All returns must be received at Way Motor Works within 15 days of obtaining an RMA #. If not received within that time no refund or exchange will be given. Please fill out and print the RMA form at the link below and include it with your return, and ensure all items being returned include the RMA # clearly visible on the outside of the box.

Returns may take up to 30 days to process, so please be patient. Do not ask us to make exceptions to any of these policies.


PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to accept returns on any item that has been installed, incomplete, modified, scratched or damaged in any way. We can only accept returns for items that are in new resalable condition, including the original, unopened packaging. We cannot refund shipping charges. If you received Free shipping on the part or order that you wish to return the the cost of that shipping will be deducted from the amount we refund to you.  We are unable to process returns or refunds on special order, custom, one of a kind, clearance, used, or electrical items. If your return has been authorized by Way Motor Works, there will be a 20% restocking fee assessed on your return. This restocking charge is not for our profit but to cover our costs of credit card fees, processing, boxing, packaging, and handling of the order. If an item is refused at the delivery address we will have the item shipped back to us and charge any incurred charges to the purchaser’s credit card.


Damaged, Mis-Packaged, or Missing goods:

Once you receive your package open it immediately and inspect it for any shipping errors, missing parts, or damage.  If you receive a package and it is damaged or missing goods you MUST report it within 24hrs, if not your claim may be denied.  Sorry but due to dishonest people this policy had to be put in place.  If something is missing or damaged that is the fault of WMW we will issue a replacement or fulfill the missing items ASAP.  NOTE:  Performance parts are NOT Emergency parts and do NOT keep the vehicle from operating therefore they should be ordered in advance by you the customer, not at the last minute.  Performance parts have many variations and can commonly require time or modification for use, or additional parts to make them work, so PLAN AHEAD.  Don't be in a time crunch with mods you will end up spending more money on shipping and possibly make a hasty incorrect decision on a part.

Warranty on parts:  Each manufacturer has their own warranty process and stipulations.  Please contact us prior to purchase if you would like details on a products warranty. 

Original OEM MINI parts sold by WMW are covered by MINIUSA warranty procedure.  In which you will have to take your MINI to your local authorized MINI dealer to have them verify the installation and faulty operation of a part.  MINIUSA has complete control over determining if they will cover a part, there is no way for WMW to warranty OEM MINI parts without going through MINI's procedure of an authorized MINI dealer diagnosis, replacement, and cost of part coverage.  MINI will not cover improperly installed parts, or parts damaged due to aftermarket parts.

All parts warranties are at the sole discretion of the manufacturer of the part, WMW is NOT responsible for any exchange, replacement, refund, or credit for any warranty denied by the manufacturer.

If you submit ANY part for warranty return or exchange and any part of the original story on how, when, where, or why it has failed is a lie we will void any and all warranty.  Use of parts on race tracks, off road use, or any timed event will also automatically void any warranty.

There is no warranty for anything that is considered personal opinion such as sound, tone, feel, fit, or loudness as each person's opinion or ear for sound can be interpreted differently.


Used and Special Parts:

These parts have been inspected prior to being sold and are in good working condition.  These parts are sold AS IS, and there is no warranty. In addition, they may not be returned. In other words, the items function properly to the best of our knowledge. We are not going to sell a used part that we think will fail or break. However, we have no way of knowing when that will occur. This is why we must make you aware that they are sold as is. Thank you for understanding!


International Orders:

WMW does not ship anything internationally.

 

Other conditions

All products sold by Way Motor Works have been designed and intended for off-road applications only.  Check your local and federal laws prior to purchase. Vehicles modified by the use of performance parts may no longer be lawfully used on public highways. Violation of such laws may subject the owner or user to a fine or penalty. Installation of performance products may void your vehicle warranty coverage. These components are legal in California for racing vehicles only, which may never be used on public roads or highways. Federal and many state laws prohibit the removal, modification or disabling of any device or element of design affecting vehicle emission or safety in a vehicle used on public highways. All engine parts, and electrical components are sold AS IS and cannot be returned.  Re-sellers, installers and end users assume all costs and risk associated with these items. Way Motor Works is not responsible for any losses incurred from the use of any and all products sold. WMW will only ship to the billing address for payment used, and will require signature for delivery.


Responsibilities – WMW has no control over the manner of use or installation of its products after their sale. As such, WMW is not responsible for any consequential or indirect damages or warranty voids. Please understand that the use of any product sold by WMW is the sole responsibility of the end user. Items sold on this website are strictly for racing vehicles which may never be driven on the streets. WMW will not be responsible for any legal issues regarding the modification of street legal vehicles. It is critical that these products are installed properly. Therefore, WMW strongly encourages you to have this done by a professional shop that is MINI certified.

Force of Nature – WMW shall not be liable for loss or damage caused by and delay or failure to perform resulting in whole or in part from: labor disruptions, governmental decrees or controls, delay in transportation, war, shortages, risks, insurrections, severe weather conditions, acts of God, or any circumstances beyond the control of WMW in its business operations.

Trademarks - All manufacturer's names, photos, symbols & descriptions are used for reference only and do not imply that any listed product is the product of these manufacturers unless specifically noted. MINI and the MINI logo are the registered trademarks of BMW NA. BMW and the BMW logo are registered trademarks of BMW NA.


Sorry if our policies seem harsh, but WMW has been in business for several years and we had to put these policies in place due to those very few customers that just can not be satisfied no matter what you do.  If you ever have questions or concerns regarding the WMW Terms and Conditions please feel free to contact Way the owner himself so he can help you out and make sure both parties will be happy.  We are in business to help and make your car go faster.


Way Motor Works reserves the rights to change, add, or modify these Terms at any time.


Discount Programs:  If a website or company is offering a discount you need to do your homework.  If someone has a discount they have to be making up the difference somewhere.  Many MINI parts have profit margins less than 10%, so most sites giving a discount actually mark up the price before the discount is applied.  Also many companies have policies in place the do NOT allow us to sell their part below a certain price.  WMW does not participate in marketing games like this.  We prefer to offer the best prices possible on all our parts and great service with super fast shipping.  And don't forget our FREE Tech Support for customers.  You will also find we stock as much as possible so it is common for us to have parts in stock when everyone else is sold out.  WMW does NOT give any club a discount.  If we did we would have to give all clubs a discount to be fair and not upset any.  All of our customers are a club member or forum member somewhere, again this is a popular fake discount program.
