Timing chain Cam Sprocket for R50 R52 R53 MINI Cooper and Cooper S. As the your MINI gets older and higher in mileage the timing chain will wear and can even wear the sprocket or gear on the camshaft. If you have your MINI engine apart you may want to replace it. This sprocket is held to the cam with one single bolt and a dowel pin to align it.
